Final Fantasy XV expected to sell a million copies

"Final Fantasy XV" has not yet been released, and yet there are already expectations for how the game will perform. In the upcoming issue of Nikkei Tredy, it appears that expectations are running very high as of the moment.

According to the editorial, as reported by DualShockers, "Final Fantasy XV" is expected to rack up a million units of sales in the local market alone. That is not to say that all of the fans will be receptive of "Final Fantasy XV."

The editorial also adds that the battle system may not necessarily be well-received by fans who have been hardcore followers of the traditional series. But there is still a wide range of market that will be receptive to these changes.

Considering the popularity of "Final Fantasy XV," as well as fellow game "Dragon Quest XI," expectations may just come true. In addition, it may also be one of the ways by which console gaming can see a good rise despite the rapid increase in popularity of smartphone gaming.

Still, before the launch of the game arrives, fans can check out the Taipei Game Show 2016. While an Active Time Report is expected during the event, there is another thing happening at the event, which will be held on Jan. 31.

According to WCCF Tech, "Final Fantasy XV" will get its own dedicated stage. Given this, there will surely be more information coming in at the event. Currently, what the Active Time Report will contain still has to be announced, but the publication speculated that there will be more information coming out given the two separate events.

"Final Fantasy XV" is expected to launch this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. A release date has yet to be revealed, but Square Enix has already confirmed that a March event will allow the developer to announce its launch plans.http://www.gmpacks.com/

Brings New Content, Stability Improvements‘FIFA 16’ PS4, PC, Xbox One 1.03 Update Released,

FIFA Ultimate Team has also seen a few bug fixes with the Patch 3. Compare Price has been improved when using consumable items. Issues involving Goalkeeper as default for Player Roles, mismatched images of balls in settings, Concept Squad displayed as playable squad and opponent’s use of historical kits when in Play a Friend’s Squad have all been resolved. Finally, the default value in Buy Now option is now updated to the max value for items on sale on the Transfer Market.

The new content comes in the form of star heads for some of the players, particularly those who hail from newly promoted Barclays Premier League teams for the season. There are also new third kits for Barcelona, Roma and Inter Milan.

EA has also been listening to community feedback regarding issues in “FIFA 16.” The patch features some fixes that fans have identified, as detailed over at the EA support page.
The third patch for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of “FIFA 16” has been released. It brings some stability improvements and, more importantly, some new content for avid players.

FIFA 16” will now have better online matchmaking, correctly timed team celebrations and correct flags in FIFA Pro Clubs. There are also now fixes for glitches with FIFA Online Seasons record exploits, resets for Pro Club accomplishments and unsaved screen size changes on the PS4.


Also it’s the last call for the Team of the Week for “FIFA 16” Ultimate Team. There is still one day to go to challenge the Team of the Week until Nov. 11. As usual, this is the segment wherein the FIFA Ultimate Team gathers all of the best players around so that players can challenge them in the mode, as stated in the EA Sports page.

The starting 11 players include Samir Handanovic, Luciano Fabian Monzon, Maicon, Laurent Koscielny, Arouna Kone, Granit Xhaka, Sergi Roberto, Riyad Mahrez, Marco Reus, Coutinho and Arkadiusz Milik. There are 12 reserves and five extra players to challenge. Team of the Week items can be obtained with FIFA Ultimate Team Packs, though they are randomly placed in packs.

In The Elder Scrolls Online, you have an item limit

In those games there's a weight limit, and in the most recent releases even hitting that limit still allows you to move, albeit very slowly. In The Elder Scrolls Online, you have an item limit. 60 items to start. And when there's an abundance of items worth collecting—whether it be weapons and armor or the many materials and ingredients used in crafting items, potions, enchantments, foodstuffs, and so on—it's easy for anyone to hit 60 quickly (which I, in keeping with tradition, did within an hour or so of starting). They allow you to deposit items in the bank, and smartly give you access to crafting items from any crafting stations instead of having to withdraw what you need every time. They also let you purchase additional storage space in your personal pack and bank, but after the first addition of 10 more spaces (which also easily fills up), it becomes unbelievably expensive to add more. Because of this I'm constantly told that my inventory is full, forcing me to find something in my possession to get rid of just to replace it with something else more worth having. This is especially frustrating when completing a quest, as you're not allowed to accept the reward offered until removing something from your inventory.www.mmozt.com On top of all of this, many of the items you find are worth little to nothing at all. Even plenty of larger items like weapons and armor you would expect to be worth a decent pay day when added up aren't worth a single coin, meaning your only options are to destroy them for nothing or deconstruct them in hopes or gaining materials (which often results in nothing helpful being recovered). It takes a lot of the fun out of hoarding and selling all I've collected for a nice profit at the end of a quest. I've already gotten used to this dilemma, and it's something I can deal with, but the amount of time spent figuring out how to manage the inventory can really take away from time spent actually playing. It would be so much more appreciated if every player had their own little house where they could store as much as they wanted to keep or save for the future as you do in other Elder Scrolls games.

World of Warcraft subscribers drop to seven million

World of Warcraft is unique in the MMO space because it has survived the test of time. However, old age is starting to creep up on the classic MMO as well. Activision Blizzard reported that World of Warcraft has shed three million subscribers in a mere three months.
While players might get bored with an MMO that has lasted almost 11 years, the number also represents the biggest subscriber loss in a single quarter. The game has steadily gained subscribers until a plateau in Q4 2010, when the expansion pack Cataclysm was released. Subscriber levels haven’t grown significantly since despite small spikes in Q3 2012 and Q4 2014, when the expansion packs Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor were released.
Many of the complaints about the game center around the lack of content. Most players are split into two camps – player vs. environment content (more popularly known in the community as “raids”) and player vs. player (PvP) content, where players battle each other in an arena (2v2, 3v3 or 5v5) or battleground (up to 40v40) environment. An ELO-like rating system governs arenas and rated battlegrounds (10v10).
Warlords did not add any new battlegrounds or arenas, and only released two raids – Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry, which can only be done once a week on four different difficulties (Looking For Raid, Normal, Heroic and Mythic). Raids can take at least three hours to complete, depending on the skill of your raid. While battlegrounds and arenas can provide more replay value, the difficulty of reaching the highest ranks can be frustrating to all but the most dedicated of players.

In Warlords, Activision Blizzard introduced player garrisons, which was an attempt to respond to players wanting guild housing for many years. Some players have criticized the maintenance of said garrisons on the game’s official forums and compared them more to “chores” than to having fun. This is exacerbated by many players having a “main” character, the one they use to raid or PvP on, and “alt” characters, which players use for various reasons, such as professions, storing game items, or even raiding or PvPing. Each character has their own garrison, and maintaining multiple garrisons might make Warlords seem more like work than play.

Another possible reason for the shed in subscribers could be attributed to the release of the “WoW Token”, where players can exchange their in-game gold for a month of game time. The current subscription price is $15 a month, with discounts for buying multiple months at once. This was introduced primarily to fight off real money trading that has plagued the game for many years. Real money trading is against the game’s Terms of Service. Those who have hoarded gold over the years, or know how to use the in-game Auction House to turn a profit, might have bought WoW Tokens in lieu of a subscription. However, this impact won’t be seen until the next earnings call.
Activision Blizzard also maintains several other games such as StarCraft II, Hearthstone, Diablo III, Heroes of the Storm and the upcoming Overwatch, which are possible destinations for those who have abandoned World of Warcraft. “Our talented teams around the world continue to create experiences that inspire our audiences. In the last 12 months, we had over 150 million active users around the world who played our games for more than 12 billion hours and spectators who watched over a billion hours of linear programming based on our games. In the past year, Activision Blizzard’s communities grew by more than 25 percent,” said CEO Bobby Kotick in the company’s quarterly earnings call, alluding that while the World of Warcraft community has shrunk, its other communities have grown.

Another week passes and EA Sports reveal their latest Team of the Week number 35, as seen within the image below. This includes Hat-trick heroes and the official EA Sports FIFA Twitter page made that clear in their tweet, especially considering they tweeted the message directly to Premier League Man City player Sergio Kun Aguero and Paris Saint-Germain player Edinson Cavani.
